Andi and Family, my heart breaks for you in your loss. Mike was not only a friend but also my mailman. He would tease me at church and call me by my house number. He is so loved and missed.

A couple years ago, Mike forgot my name and called me Elizabeth with barely a pause. Almost every Sunday after that he'd greet me as Elizabeth and I'd call him Matthew.

Andi & Family,
My heart is just broken for you.
I dont have that many memories of Mike but the ones I do are precious to me. That smile, the way he walked, I can close my eyes and just see him with that bushy mustache.
Whenever I think of Mike, my first thought is that I still owe him $2.
One year, no one from Ironton First was going to the winter retreat in Cedar Lakes in WVA so New Boston church picked me to and let me ride with them. On the way home that Sunday, we stopped at McDonalds and I had zero money with me so Mike loaded me 2 dollars so i could have something to eat too. After that, every time I saw him I would tease him that I still owed $2 although after a while, he'd forgotten why, haha.
