I am sure that I am like many of our friends from Southwest Missouri State and especially the Sigma Chi Chapter that have special memories of Rick. He was a good friend to not only Mike but me and even though we didn't get to see each other over the past several years; Rick and I would exchange some emails and a few phone calls. The last time we were together in person was a very special trip that I took with my Son for the EX golf event in Tucson 9 years ago. Rick and I got to catch up in person and we shared lots of laughs; I will remember that event forever and cherish my memories of Rick and what a special man he was. Sally (Emery) Amaral

Rick was a pledge brother50 plus years ago. I so looked forward to seeing him in later years at the Sig golf outing in Tucson. He fought the good fight and we will raise a glass in his honor in April at our ETA kappa reunion. Rip brother

Rick and I were the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid of WWGC. Not that we were trouble makers, but side by side nearly every day of the week. Miss ya Butch....

Rick was a really nice guy and I enjoyed spending time with him. He really battled this disease with everything he had and remained optimistic at the same time. He was an inspiration.

Rick was a short game wizard! A good person to enjoy golf with. A fine and caring man.
