Annie left home at an early age, nearly 20 years old, to pursue her career in Phoenix, Arizona asa Go Go Dance, in those days the dancers dress like the Dallas Cheerleaders with the fancy clothes and boots. Shortly after she met and married Richard Walker, who accepted her son Anthony as his own. From this union two daughters were born: Roshon and Regina Walker.
In 1970, Annie met John Lincoln Burr and to this union one son was born: Jonathan Lincoln Burr. Annie and John were soul-mates and united in Holy Matrimony on December 5, 1983. Annie accepted the Lord as her personal savior and united with the South Phoenix Baptist Church during the early 1980's. Annie remained an active member of the church and she was still singing in the choir when the Lord called her Home to be with him.
Annie Lorraine Burr worked at Hyatt Regency Resort in the late 70's, (1974-1979), as an assistant in the Beauty Salon.
