Obituary of Porfirio Lopez Sandoval

Porfirio Lopez Sandoval, 84, of Phoenix , returned home to his Father in Heaven on February 4, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on February 26, 1930 to Catalina Lopez and Santiago Sandoval in Robstown, TX. Porfirio is survived by his loving Daughters; Rosalinda Sandoval Duran of Chandler, Arizona and Rosario Sandoval Lopez of Rupert, Idaho; his Grandson, Ben Villalobos, whom was raised by Porfirio; and 8 other grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and his loving spouse Delia Guzman. Porfirio's interests included playing dominos, Spanish Bingo, quilting and sewing, playing harmonica and singing, coloring and spending time with his spouse. "Sandy" was loved and cared for by many. Not only was he the Patriarch of the Sandoval Family, he also touched the lives of so many people that adored him. He was a father figure to so many lucky people that were blessed enough to have known him. Porfirio was also a great friend and personality. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father; Santiago Sandoval; Mother, Catalina Sandoval; and his First wife of 41 years, Margarita Sandoval. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, 5:00 p, at the Samaritan Funeral Home, Phoenix, Arizona
