Obituary of Dennis William Murphy

Dennis William Murphy, “The Murph” was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on December 19, 1953.

He passed away peacefully at his home in Phoenix on June 2, 2022 of natural causes.

He moved to Tucson in the early ’70’s with his best friends from Park Ridge, Il.

In the 80’s, Dennis enjoyed his Motorcycles. He rode fast and survived some spectacular crashes on both Harleys and Hondas.

He was always an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching all the “Suns” and “Cardinals” games with his friends.

Dennis worked in a number of industries, but found success in property rehabbing and real estate management.

He had a heart of gold, was a generous soul, a problem solver, and an honest person who would give you the shirt off his back. His infectious laugh and telling a good joke were his trade mark. Murph always had a great story in his back pocket to share with you. He leaves behind many friendsand family members and his late cat, Little Dude.

He’s survived by his brother, Michael (Cindy), their son, Michael Jr., his sister Kathy Venner (Bob), and their son Derek, his sister, Loree Camporine and her children Courtney, Bobby and Tyler.

He was also proceeded in death by his parents, Laverne and Lawrence Murphy, his sister, Maureen Murphy and nephew Gavin Murphy.
